The Family Day Care Educator Induction Training package has been designed to support Educators in developing practical skills and knowledge that will assist them in the important work they will do each day with children and families.
There are 7 modules, after each has a set of reflective questions which will assist Educators to consider what they have learned and how this relates to their work. Each module will take approximately 2 hours to complete. The educator responses to the reflective questions are accessible to their service coordination unit staff if they are members of the FDCAQ. The service may use these responses to discuss the educator practice and knowledge.

On completion Educators will have a good understanding of how to manage some of the complex issues they may experience and how to set up their business to operate a successful family day care services which is able to meet the needs of families and promote children's learning and development.
